2025 TEAM PLAY SEASON RECAP

Whew, we made it through our Team Play season with Modified Match Play. Thank you all for your cooperation and enthusiasm while we all muddled through a new format for our season. There were bumps along the way and we learned a lot. Many divisions had close end of season scores. We even had one division finishing in a tie, therefore; Central Valley sent two clubs to a neutral course to break the tie.

Please congratulate these division winners: Central Valley, Oakdale; Peninsula, Saratoga; East Bay A, Marin CC; East Bay B, Sequoyah; River Valley A, Lake of the Pines; River Valley B, Rancho Murieta. These clubs were invited to the Team Play Championship at North Ridge CC on August 12, 2025. All division area winners came to play golf that day to win. The format was two person team net ball played on a beautiful summer day. The net scores were close. Please applaud and congratulate the clubs on their area win. Here are our 2025 Team Play Area Winners:

• East Bay: Marin CC
• River Valley: Lake of the Pines
• Central Valley: Oakdale
• Peninsula: Saratoga

And a big shout out to Team Play Champion–Saratoga!! Winning by one point.
