We just completed our annual Beat The Pro day and what a day it was! We usually compete against one of the teaching pros at the club, their gross score against our net score. This year we competed against a young man on his way to the Canadian Tour.

Much harder as Johnny typically shoots about 31 on our front nine. Maybe it was all the confusion of playing the course totally out of sequence or maybe our gals just stepped up their game. Congratulations to the three players who doubled their money in the pro shop.

This is a great game and a win, win for all the players willing to take on the challenge. We bet from $5 to $20 that we can match or beat the pro’s gross score with our net score. Win or lose, the money we bet goes on our sweeps account in the pro shop. If we win, the money is doubled! Try it, you just might like it.
