The ladies at Sun City Roseville are anticipating a great 2010. We have changed our name to Sierra Pi
nes Ladies Golf. We thought this was a good time for a name change; our facility at Sierra Pines is undergoing a large expansion, and we are looking forward to future social events in our brand new, large clubhouse.
A new member to our club in 2009, Hideko Akazaki, became a United States Citizen at the end of 2009. We wish her every happiness in her new country. Congratulations, Hideko.
In addition to our regular bi-monthly tournaments, we also compete in an eclectic tournament and putt for points during March through October. We have found these to be fun events for our members.
We were happy this year to award Sandy Yarbrough with the Most Improved Golfer award. Sandy has been a long-time member of our club and a previous captain.
